the property was stylish with consistently courteous staff who provide outstanding service. i got a well laid out room with a very comfy bed. the location was great - walking distance to restaurants and pubs.

As for me, the location was good and magnificent, near Stellenbosch University and town centre, and to town centre, biggest shopping mall, bars, craft shops, a main artery between the student residences and the social area, and restuarants. There was an outdoor restaurant nearby. The breakfast was savoury and tasty with freshly made eggs and different dishes, for instance and served by the fairly friendly staff.

We absolutely love staying at Life & Leisure! It's become our go-to hotel during our trips to this area. The intimate atmosphere and convenient location make it a top choice for us. The rooms are well-appointed and comfortable, and we always have a great night's sleep. The breakfast spread never disappoints, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. The staff, including the owner, are welcoming and genuinely attentive to our needs. We appreciate their patience and flexibility, especially when we've needed to return late in the night. The modern and sophisticated facilities add to the overall enjoyable experience. We highly recommend Life & Leisure and can't wait to return.

I had an amazing value for my money at this hotel. The room had a lovely balcony where I could enjoy drinks with friends while stargazing. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from restaurants and the town center. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The staff went above and beyond to provide outstanding service, making me feel cared for and attended to throughout my stay. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The hotel also had a lovely lounge and pool area, perfect for relaxation. I was extremely impressed with the level of comfort and quality provided by this hotel.

Our stay at the Rattray/Van Reibeck property was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warm and gracious hospitality of our host. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and immaculately clean. We were delighted to find fluffy gowns, complimentary wines, and little snacks waiting for us. The breakfast provided was beyond scrumptious and the service was top-notch. The location couldn't have been better, with all the restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. We felt safe and secure throughout our stay, and the on-site car park was a convenient perk. The communal areas were beautifully decorated and provided a modern and inviting atmosphere. The big, warm bed was PERFECT for a good night's sleep. The separate and quiet outside room was an added bonus. We were also impressed with the services available during loadshedding. our experience at this property was mind-blowing and we highly recommend it!

We got amazing value for our money with a complete floor of a building, massive bedrooms, and super comfortable beds. The location was convenient for accessing town, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating.

The location was perfect, for example, Dorp Street was relatively close to the hotel. The room was beautifully maintained and stocked, it had incredible views.

I loved everything about my stay at the hotel. The location was perfect with excellent restaurants and shops within walking distance. The hotel facilities were superb, with clean and comfortable rooms, modern and luxurious restrooms, and a large shared lounge and dining area. The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Noisy construction noise disturbed my sleep in the morning. Room was small and noisy, especially being near the restaurant and hotel entry.

Stylish and exceptionally comfortable hotel that has incredibly nice staff who provide outstanding service. The breakfast is tasty with delicious coffee and freshly made eggs and different dishes, had everything you could imagine. The setting is good and magnificent, close to art galleries and the University of Stellenbosch buildings. There is De Warenmarkt serving quick meals 10 mins walk from the venue.

This accommodation is located in a great spot, with many restaurants within walking distance. The yummy Fat Butcher restaurant is close by. Being able to walk to restaurants and shops is very convenient.

There was an issue with the lights in the stairway not working, which made it difficult to see at night.
